Slovhunt was founded in 1999 by a group of enthusiastic Dutch hunters who decided to look for the finest possible hunting grounds in Europe. They succeeded and found what they were looking for in Slovakia where they, together with some local hunters, now have access to approximately 3000 hectares of hills, valleys and broad-leaved forests which are home to much of the Country's finest game. At the 'heart of Europe' Slovakia is famous for its beautiful scenery and it is against that backdrop that our guests have ample opportunity to stalk and hunt red deer, roe deer, wild boar and mouflon. Between the months of November and February driven pheasant shoots for up to 10 guns are also organised.

The attention to detail and professionalism of the Slovhunt staff are the 'hallmark' of all our game shoots together with the facilities that accompany them and these are all provided at very competitive prices.

Our hunting grounds are near the villages Pukanec and Uhliska about 2 hours drive from Bratislava. The Golden Deer, our attractive and comfortable lodge, can accommodate groups of up to 15 people and we aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere with excellent food, wine, spirits, and of course, Slovakian beer. Evening entertainment and excursions can also be arranged at additional cost.
